The book we're reading this month is...

"It is a "locked room" whodunnit in which guests at a country estate become amateur sleuths when a shooting occurs and all evidence points toward their host."

It's written by the same author as "Winnie-the-Pooh", Alan Alexander Milne!  It is his first and only mystery novel.  He is better known for his humorous writing, children's stories, and poems.  He was born in 1882 in London.  He was a playwright and a journalist as well as a poet and storyteller.  His classic children's books were inspired by his son, Christopher Robin.  Milne died in 1956 at age 74.  Here's a picture of him...
